OverviewSince 17 September, the city of Sabrata has witnessed clashes between armed groups. It is believed that civilian casualties are under-reported. Homes and civilian infrastructure has also been damaged, including the Sabrata University Hospital, which was hit by shells on two occasions, causing damage to the emergency and surgery department, which are now not operational. Civilians are trying to leave the area of conflict, but do so in dangerous circumstances. On 22 September the car of a family trying to leave Sabrata to Zawiya was hit, killing a husband and wife.
